Especially for people who love printed publications

LANSING, Ill. (August 14, 2021) – Though it’s been over a year since the pandemic forced us to stop regular publication of a printed newspaper, we still get questions from readers who miss those printed pages. Our answer to those questions is usually, “We don’t have any specific plans for a print newspaper at this time.”
We do, however, have plans for a different printed project: a 2022 printed wall calendar.
The 2022 Lansing Calendar is all about Lansing — Lansing photos, Lansing event dates, Lansing school district information, acknowledgements of Lansing history, and links to significant Lansing articles The Lansing Journal has published over the years.

The project is a grand experiment with a lot of unknowns. How many people still use printed calendars? What other Lansing information should we squeeze into its pages? Should we sell these, or use them as thank-you gift for people who sign up to support The Lansing Journal? How will we handle the logistics of ordering and delivering?
We’re not sure, but we thought we’d start with this post.
