Merlin D. Keys, age 94, of Dyer, IN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 1, 2021.
Beloved husband of the late Alberta Keys, nee Thomas. Loving father of Kimberly Green, Cheryl (Bill) Beauchamp, and Jennifer (Brian) McNichols. Cherished grandpa of 6; great-grandpa of 13; great-great-grandpa of 2. Dear brother of Guy (Alva) Keys, Geraldine (Bill) Miller, Loretta (Bob) Scheffers, and Gerald Keys. Preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Waunita Keys. Merlin was a United States Army Veteran. Merlin was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Visitation Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:45 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery – Elwood, IL.
