Lansing Police seek help in search for 53-year-old man

LANSING, Ill. (July 20, 2021) – The Lansing Police Department is seeking help in locating 53-year-old Robert Cherry. He was last seen in Lansing, IL on June 8, 2021. Robert is familiar with Lansing and has lived in Lansing and Chicago. He also has family in Harvey, IL. Cherry’s family is concerned since they have not heard from him. Family members state Cherry does take prescribed medication and it is unknown if he has taken the medication.

The Cook County Forest Preserve Police assisted detectives in searching the forest preserve by Cherry’s residence. Individuals with information regarding his whereabouts are asked contact the Lansing Police Department at 708-895-7150.
