LYNWOOD, Ill. (June 30, 2021) – The Lynwood Independence Day Parade will step off Saturday at noon, starting on Glenwood Lansing Road at the north end of town and winding south through neighborhoods before ending at Liberty Memorial Park near the Lynwood Fire Department.

Participants will gather at Benny’s Place as a staging area before the parade, located at the intersection of Glenwood Lansing Road and Crescent Avenue. The parade route is roughly 15 miles long.

A flyer for the event said, “Please bring your family out along the parade route to join your elected officials, youth organizations, and local businesses as we celebrate Independence Day in Lynwood!”
