LANSING, Ill. (June 19, 2021) – Amid the flurry of pandemic-inspired food giveaways during the past year, staff at the Lansing Community Food Pantry shared a reminder that they too are open and faithfully serving the community.
“We’ve been concerned by a decline in the number of clients who utilize our service,” said Barb Lessner, secretary of the pantry, in a June 15 email. “We worry people might not know that the we have been open through the COVID crisis and are continuing on our normal schedule.”
The Lansing Community Food Pantry is open from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm every Tuesday in the lower level of the Lansing Assembly of God Church, 2990 Ridge Road.
