LANSING, Ill. (June 7, 2021) – Eighty-one households across Lansing are prepping to sell their extra items Saturday, June 12, as Lansing’s Village-wide Garage Sale will likely bring out hundreds of bargain hunters.

Garage sales will start at 8 a.m. and end at or before 4 p.m. on Saturday. The Village waived the $5 garage sale fee for the 81 households that applied to be a part of the village-wide event. The application window for the Village-wide Garage Sale has closed.

The event will take place rain or shine, and is limited to only Saturday, though some households may have obtained permits for additional days.

This year’s Village-wide Garage Sale will mark the second such event in recent years, as the Village held one in June of 2019.
