LANSING, Ill. (June 2, 2021) – This post includes data for the village of Lansing and data visuals for the states of Illinois and Indiana.
The South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association has created a COVID dashboard aggregating data from villages throughout the south suburbs. Highlights from Lansing are listed below:
- Cumulative total of COVID-19 cases: 3,487 (Previous reported total: 3,485)
- Cumulative total of COVID-19 deaths: 20 (Previous day’s total: 20)
- Seven-day positivity rate: 2.48% (reported May 30, 2021)

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today reported 478 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 9 additional deaths.
A total of 11,338,305 vaccines have been administered in Illinois as of last midnight. The seven-day rolling average of vaccines administered daily is 41,234 doses. Yesterday, 29,322 doses were reported administered in Illinois. More than 67% of Illinois adults have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, and nearly 51% of Illinois adults are fully vaccinated, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
