LANSING, Ill. (May 24, 2021) – This post includes data for the village of Lansing and data visuals for the states of Illinois and Indiana.

Lansing

The South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association has created a COVID dashboard aggregating data from villages throughout the south suburbs. Highlights from Lansing are listed below:

  • Cumulative total of COVID-19 cases: 3,469 (Previous reported total: 3,459)
  • Cumulative total of COVID-19 deaths: 20 (Previous day’s total: 20)
  • Seven-day positivity rate: 3.37% (reported May 21, 2021)

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today reported 933 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 10 additional deaths. In addition, 65% of Illinois adults have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose and 48% of Illinois adults are fully vaccinated, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
