LANSING, Ill. (May 9, 2021) – The Cook County Department of Public Health announced the vaccination site located at TF South will be open to walk-ins through June 5, with no appointment, insurance, or immigration status required to receive a vaccination.
According to a Cook County Department of Public Health flyer, the site is now serving residents of Lansing, Calumet City, Chicago Heights, South Chicago Heights, Harvey, South Holland, Dolton, Burnham, and Lynwood.
The vaccination site is located at TF South High School (18500 Burnham Avenue, Lansing, IL), through Door N-1 on the school’s north side.
The site is open Monday—Friday, 10 a.m.—8 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m.—6 p.m.
Appointments can be made by walking into the facility, visiting the site’s online appointment page, or by calling 312-864-0591.
Vaccines are available to individuals ages 16 and older, though those younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Vaccines are entirely free.
