LANSING, Ill. (April 27, 2021) – In a text alert Tuesday afternoon, the Cook County Department of Public Health announced the vaccination site located at TF South will be open to walk-ins until Saturday, May 1.

The text emphasized the site was open to everyone, with “no appointment or ID needed.”

The site is open for walk-up vaccinations every day this week from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. All individuals 16 and older are eligible to receive a vaccine in Suburban Cook County.

The TF South vaccination site originally opened as Cook County’s first educational “Point of Distribution,” providing COVID-19 vaccines to individuals working in District 215 and surrounding school districts. The site expanded to serve the larger public in late March.

The vaccination location is accessible through Door N-1 at TF South, located on the building’s north side.
