LANSING, Ill. (April 26, 2021) – This post includes data for the village of Lansing and data visuals for the states of Illinois and Indiana.

The South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association has created a COVID dashboard aggregating data from villages throughout the south suburbs. Highlights from Lansing are listed below:

  • Cumulative total of COVID-19 cases: 3,318 (Previous reported total: 3,310)
  • Cumulative total of COVID-19 deaths: 20 (Previous day’s total: 20)
  • Seven-day positivity rate: 8.59% (reported April 23, 2021)

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today reported 2,137 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 10 additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses for Illinois is 10,913,325. A total of 8,860,975 vaccines have been administered in Illinois as of last midnight. The seven-day rolling average of vaccines administered daily is 105,873 doses. Yesterday, 50,512 doses were reported administered in Illinois.

    Something is wrong You reported 3,310 cases now in total cumulation and previous was 3,318 which is a decrease. I figured if anything the figured should be reversed .

    • Thank you, Richard. You are correct. I inadvertently inverted the numbers. The total cases on April 26 was 3,318. And 3,310 was actually the total on April 24, but the numbers were not updated over the weekend, so that was our previously reported total.
