Pour on Roy prepares for April 20 opening

“Soft openings” all weekend give Todd family time to iron out the details

LANSING, Ill. (April 17, 2021) – “This is a test run,” explained Amy Todd, one of the owners of Pour on Roy. The new wine bar opening at 18155 Roy Street unofficially welcomed patrons on Friday evening, April 16, offering an opportunity to sample a variety of beverages as well as cheeses, flat breads, and a specialty red pepper hummus.

The soft openings will continue on Saturday and Sunday, with flexible hours (roughly 4:00–11:00pm, though possibly earlier and later) while the Todd family figures out details involving the point-of-sale system, the kitchen and menu, and adherence to COVID safety guidelines. Pour on Roy is closed on Mondays.

On Tuesday, April 20, Pour on Roy will officially open at 4:00pm as “an upscale wine bar that also serves craft beer and small bites,” according to the description on the wine bar’s Facebook page.
