LANSING, Ill. (April 7, 2021) – Cook County has announced Vaccines4Veterans, a service designed to help veterans and their spouses receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
In an email to the public on April 6, Cook County announced the program and said interested participants must register by Friday, April 9.
Registering for the Vaccines4Veterans program is not registering for a vaccine appointment. Rather, registering for the program means the Cook County Department of Veterans Affairs will help the veteran and his/her spouse to register for a vaccine appointment.
“Spread the word. We want to vaccinate as many veterans as possible!” the email said.
The Vaccines4Veterans registration form is available on the Cook County Department of Veterans Affairs’ website or by calling 312-603-6423 on Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
