LANSING, Ill. (February 18, 2021) – Resolve Foundation is inviting the public to attend a webinar raising awareness and answering questions about COVID-19 vaccination and other pandemic-related topics.

The event is free, and will take place on February 27 at 1:00 p.m. Online registration is required and available at resolvefoundation.org/seminar.

Resolve Foundation

Resolve Foundation is a Lansing-based non-profit that was founded in 2018 by the Chukwulebe family. According to the organization’s website, its mission is to “take advantage of modern technology in promoting youth fitness, social awareness, and civic engagement as a means of driving social change and finding lasting solutions to chronic social problems in order to build a better world.”

Though the pandemic has slowed outreach and fundraising efforts for the organization, the Resolve Foundation was able to organize a “Money Smart” seminar teaching young people the basics of taxation, investment, saving, and paying for college. The videos from those sessions are available at resolvefoundation.org/videos.

Resolve Foundation also donated four laptops to St. Ann School in the fall of 2020 for student use.

Webinar guests

Dr. Steve Chukwulebe of Advocate Aurora Health will moderate the webinar. The first guest will be Dr. Robert Murphy, who is a professor of Medicine and Biomedical Engineering, the Executive Director of the Institute for Global Health, and the John P. Phair Professor of Infectious Diseases at Northwestern University. The second guest will be Dr. Stephen Weber, a Professor of Medicine, CMO, and VP for Clinical Effectiveness at the University of Chicago Medical Center
