Cancelled: Lan-Oak Park District Board meeting – 11/16/20

By Josh Bootsma

LANSING, Ill. (November 15, 2020) – The November 16 meeting of the Lan-Oak Park District Board has been cancelled, to “keep with [the Board’s] public safety priority,” according to Senior Superintendent Sharon Desjardins. The meeting was scheduled to take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Eisenhower Center.

Desjardins said, “Since the onset of the pandemic, the Lan-Oak Park District has made resident safety our priority by complying fully with state executive orders. We have consolidated meetings whenever possible and cancelled meetings whenever possible to keep residents safe and comply with the order to limit meetings to only those that are deemed essential.”

Meeting virtually is an option that Desjardins and the Lan-Oak Park Board are looking into for the future.
