- Cumulative total of COVID-19 cases: 1,039 (Previous day’s total: 1,028)
- Cumulative total of COVID-19 deaths: 12 (Previous day’s total: 12)
- Current positivity rate: 8.62% (Previous day’s rate: 8.6%)

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today reported 4,942 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 44 additional deaths.
IDPH now includes both molecular and antigen tests in the number of statewide total tests performed in Illinois.
