The Cook County Department of Public Health updates their numbers Monday through Friday. The most recent reports indicate:
- Cumulative total of COVID-19 cases: 1015 (Previous day’s total: 1007)
- Cumulative total of COVID-19 deaths: 12 (Previous day’s total: 12)

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today reported 3,714 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 41 additional deaths.

Could you start publishing the Lansing numbers again please?
Thanks for this request, D Zadrozny. We no longer have access to the Lansing-specific graphs we were publishing, which showed a lot of Lansing numbers, but I’m putting the Cases and Deaths numbers in bullet points at the top of each post.
In the October 21 post I added the Positivity Rate in Lansing—this number is available on a new COVID dashboard that was created by South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association. A link to that dashboard is also provided for people who are interested in exploring other stats that are being tracked.
