LANSING, Ill. (October 20, 2020) – This post includes data for the Village of Lansing and data visuals for the state of Illinois.

Lansing

The Cook County Department of Public Health updates their numbers Monday through Friday. The most recent reports indicate:

  • Cumulative total of COVID-19 cases: 1015 (Previous day’s total: 1007)
  • Cumulative total of COVID-19 deaths: 12 (Previous day’s total: 12)

Illinois

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today reported 3,714 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 41 additional deaths.

IDPH now includes both molecular and antigen tests in the number of statewide total tests performed in Illinois.

    • Thanks for this request, D Zadrozny. We no longer have access to the Lansing-specific graphs we were publishing, which showed a lot of Lansing numbers, but I’m putting the Cases and Deaths numbers in bullet points at the top of each post.

      In the October 21 post I added the Positivity Rate in Lansing—this number is available on a new COVID dashboard that was created by South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association. A link to that dashboard is also provided for people who are interested in exploring other stats that are being tracked.
