Property tax workshops coming to South Holland, Calumet City

Reservations needed for most workshops

SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (September 9, 2020) – Thornton Township Assessor Cassandra Elston will be hosting six workshops in the coming weeks to provide Thornton Township residents more information on their property tax assessments.

Attendees of the workshops will:

  • Find out more information about the assessments they have received in the mail
  • Learn how to prepare, file, and appeal their property tax assessments
  • Obtain information regarding their Triennial Property Tax Assessment

Seating is limited due to COVID-19 and social distancing. Interested parties can contact 708-596-6040 ext. 3140 to reserve a seat by stating their name, address, and phone number. Face masks will be required at the meetings at all times. Attendees must bring a copy of their property tax bills as well.

No reservation is required for the drive-up service
