LANSING, Ill. (September 8, 2020) – The Lansing Journal partners with HiGeorge to gather and present COVID-19 data from a variety of sources each day. The graphs are “live,” so they are continually updated as new data is released from these sources. For that reason, the numbers within a graph might not match the number in the text of this post, depending on when the post is being viewed.

Lansing

The Cook County Department of Public Health updates their numbers Monday through Friday. Currently the cumulative total of reported COVID-19 cases in Lansing is 743. The current cumulative total of COVID-19 deaths remains at 12.

Illinois

IDPH today announced 1,392 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 7 additional confirmed deaths.

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) today announced that 394 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, and 12 new confirmed deaths are being reported.

  1. I wish that the staff would cut off the daily info about covid19. Weekly would be plenty for most of the readers. Let’s read some good journalism. Obits have been helpful. Community news is much appreciated.
