The Cook County Department of Public Health updates their numbers Monday through Friday. Currently the current cumulative total of reported COVID-19 cases in Lansing is 703. The current cumulative total of COVID-19 deaths remains at 12.
Illinois
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today announced 1,360 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including another 25 confirmed deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 240,003 cases, including 8,115 deaths, in 102 counties in Illinois. The age of cases ranges from younger than one to older than 100 years. The preliminary seven-day statewide positivity for cases as a percent of total test from August 27–September 2 is 4.4%. As of last night, 1,620 people in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 360 patients were in the ICU and 144 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators. Within the past 24 hours, laboratories have reported 40,795 specimens for a total of 4,160,668.

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) today announced that 1,110 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, and 4 new confirmed deaths are being reported.
