Elizabeth “Betty” Tempelman, age 86 of Lansing, Illinois passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Betty is survived by her loving children; Judy (George) Otto, Patty (Fred) Dorsch, Phil (Karri) Tempelman and Mike (Sherry) Tempelman. Betty was a cherished and loving grandmother also known as Grandma “T” of 15 and great grandmother of sixteen. Also surviving is loving sister Sadie (nee Zandstra) Knoper and many loving nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Tempelman, parents John and Jen Zanstra, brothers and sisters and cherished grandson Adam Dorsch. Funeral services and burial for Betty will be private.
Betty was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Betty was a faithful woman. She showed her love her whole life by the way she treated people and by the way she served the Lord. She was loved by many and she will be truly missed. Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home has been entrusted with Betty’s care.
