Jeanne M. Jellema, age 92, of Crown Point, IN formerly of Lansing, IL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 27, 2020.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents the late John and Mae (nee Hoekstra) Jellema; one sister the late Joanne (Gordon) Boss and one brother the late William (late Louella) Jellema. Loving aunt to 10 nephews and nieces and many great nephews and nieces and great-great nephews and nieces.
Jeanne was a retired executive secretary for V.N.A. of Chicago. She loved music, especially hymns and classical. She was loved and will be missed.
Visitation Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 9:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens South – Alsip, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Bible League International, 3801 Eagle Nest Dr, Crete, IL 60417.
