MaryAnn Karulski (nee Prell), age 78 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020, with her family by her side.
She is survived by her four children: Richard Karulski Jr, Debbie Karulski, Don Karulski, and Ray (Lisa) Karulski. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Raymond, Marissa, Miranda, and Madison Karulski; and many nieces and nephews. MaryAnn was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Raymond Sr. in 2013; mother Marie Prell, father Casimer Prell, brother Casimer Prell, and sister Judith Harris.
Friends are invited to visit with MaryAnn’s family on Thursday, July 16, from 9:00–10:00am in the day chapel in St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00am in the sanctuary of the church. You will be required to wear a face mask and give your name and phone number to the ushers of the church (for possible contact tracing, if necessary). Face masks will be provided.
MaryAnn was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She had worked as the business manager for Hilton housekeeping. She had also worked for approximately 30 years as a nursing aide in the Neonatology department at South Chicago Hospital. She loved her dogs. Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
