Cannabis classes among South Suburban College’s summer non-credit online offerings

SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (May 10, 2020) – The Office of Continuing Education at South Suburban College (SSC) has scheduled a variety of non-credit courses that will be offered through the college’s Virtual Classroom this summer. Registration is open right up to the start of classes the week of June 1, 2020.

New to SSC’s non-credit schedule are six Cannabis classes, including:

  • Introduction to Cannabis
  • Cooking with Cannabis
  • Cannabis Law

Other classes will focus on dispensary information and other aspects of cannabis in Illinois.

South Suburban College offers a wide variety of start course lengths, times, and offerings, giving students the flexibility of fitting school around a busy schedule. Class topics include:

  • Art
  • Communications
  • Computers
  • Food Service Sanitation
  • Health & Wellness
  • Hospitality
  • Law Enforcement
  • Pharmacology (Cannabis)
  • Psychology
  • Real estate
