Lansing police arrest two for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance

LANSING, Ill. (March 14, 2020) – On March 10, 2020, the Lansing Police Department’s Tactical Unit executed a search warrant on a hotel room at the Travel Lodge hotel in Lansing. Joey M. Montgomery, age 29 of Lansing, was taken into custody and ultimately charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. Lasondra S. Jackson, age 30 of Lansing, was also taken into custody and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. Both subjects were processed and transported to the Markham Courthouse, located at 16501 S. Kedzie Markham, Illinois, where they attended a Felony Bond Hearing. Joey Montgomery, who has an extensive drug history that includes Manufacturing and Delivery, was released by the courts on a Recognizance Bond. Lasondra Jackson was also released on a Recognizance Bond.
