CALUMET CITY, Ill. (March 8, 2020) – TF North seniors Aniyah Moon and Diacos Love were recently named Posse Scholars and have each received four-year renewable scholarships that total over $400,000. Moon will attend Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, Georgia, on a $44,450 scholarship that is renewable for four years, totaling $177,800. Love plans to attend Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, with a $56,868 scholarship that is also renewable for four years, totaling $227,472.

The Posse Foundation partners with select colleges and universities and strives to expand the pool from which their partner schools recruit outstanding young leaders from diverse backgrounds. In addition to scholarships, Posse Scholars receive resources and support such as pre-collegiate training, on-campus mentorship, job opportunities, and more. In 2010, President Obama donated a portion of his Nobel Peace Prize award to the Posse Foundation.
