Scenes from Roundball Classic Game 1: Reavis vs Lansing Christian

LANSING, Ill. (February 6, 2020) – Announcer Ken Reynolds introduced the opening night of the Roundball Classic by naming the outcome that makes this tournament unique. “Lansing Roundball—” he told the crowd, “the tournament that over the last 10 years has raised over $50,000 for Lansing charities.”

Five schools are competing in this year’s tournament and fundraiser—Coolidge, Lansing Christian, Oak Glen, Reavis, and Heritage will compete in the following schedule. Game 1 of the 11-game series pitted Reavis Elementary (17121 Roy Street) against Lansing Christian (3660 Randolph Street). All games are held at Memorial Junior High School (2721 Ridge Road).

The tournament continues Friday and Saturday, and the championship game and award ceremony will take place on Monday, February 10.
