SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (November 28, 2019) – This year’s Christmas concert by South Holland Master Chorale is titled, “The Morning Star.” The Chorale will present the concert in two performances:
- Sunday, December 8, 4:00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church (17951 Dixie Highway, Homewood, Illinois)
- Sunday, December 15, 3:00pm at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church (500 Northgate Drive, Dyer, Indiana)
The chorale, joined by the Davidsmeier Quartet, will present music of Corelli, Kuhnau, and Mendelssohn, and new arrangements of beloved Christmas carols and hymns.
The Southlake Children’s Choir also will perform.
Both concerts are free. The December 8 concert is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
