Runners being recruited—must register by December 3, 2019

GLENWOOD, Ill. (November 19, 2019) – Glenwood Academy (500 West 187th Street in Glenwood, Illinois) has been chosen as one of the charitable partners of the 2020 Bank of America Chicago Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2020.
This is the first year that Glenwood Academy will have a team in the Chicago Marathon. The Academy is actively recruiting runners from across the country to join the Glenwood Gazelles team.
To participate in the Glenwood Gazelles running team, athletes must register by Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Team benefits include:
- A guaranteed spot in the Chicago Marathon
- Waiver of the $205 registration fee
- A discounted training program with virtual and group options available
- Race Day headquarters at Aurelio’s Pizza, located less than half-a-mile from the start and finish line
- fundraising tips and support throughout the training
- A special prize for the top fundraiser
Runners are asked to raise a minimum of $1,250 for the Glenwood Gazelles, with all money raised going to Glenwood Academy. Nathalie Hill ([email protected]) is handling registration.
