LANSING, Ill. (November 7, 2019) – Representatives from the Lansing American Legion Riders came forward during the November 5 Village Board Meeting to present checks to the Lansing Police and Fire Departments, each in the amount of $500.

The president of the Legion Riders Nick Grigutis came forward with four of his Rider colleagues and said, “We have a lot of fundraisers through the year…. We come here tonight to donate a couple checks to the police and fire department for all the things they do for the town. There’s a lot of fundraising that goes on in this town from the Legion, the Lansing Lions, and the Copper Muggers, so go to the pancake breakfasts and buy a couple hot dogs here and there because the money does a lot for the community.”
