LANSING, Ill. (August 16, 2019) – “It really makes me proud to be a resident of Lansing when I see this,” said Barb Dust, former teacher and current member of the Lansing Historical Society. She’s referring to the creative energy surrounding the “Great American Heroes of the 20th Century” program that will be presented by District 158 summer school students. The students are enrolled in Time Travelers, a summer enrichment program for kids who like hands-on history activities and musical theater, and who are willing to cover a variety of historical eras during the summer.

In support of all things history, the Lansing Historical Society will be hosting the Time Travelers’ presentation, which will take place on the library stage on Monday, August 26, at 6:30pm.

The public is invited. Lansing Public Library is located at 2750 Indiana Avenue in Lansing, Illinois. The stage is located on the upper level, accessible from the Indiana Avenue entrance.
