‘Essence of Elvis’ returns to Knights of Columbus to benefit LARC

Concert: August 2; last day to purchase tickets: July 26, 2019

information provided by The Parents & Friends of LARC

LANSING, Ill. (July 11, 2019) — Elvis Tribute Artist Joe Tirrito will be in concert Friday, August 2, 2019, at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 178th & Lorenz Avenue in Lansing, Illinois. Proceeds from the concert, organized by The Parents & Friends of LARC, will benefit the mentally disabled adults who participate in LARC’s workshop and residential services.

Tirrito was born on the south side of Chicago, and as a child he spent hours with his truck-driving father, listening to Elvis Presley. He has been performing his Tribute for more than two decades, traveling to Japan, the Bahamas, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Washington DC, and Memphis to showcase his talents. He has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show and the Geraldo Rivera Show, and he was featured in the National Enquirer. He can perform all the eras of Presley lore, but he prefers the Las Vegas Concert years.

The Parents & Friends of LARC provide support to families affected by the challenges associated with caring for someone with developmental disabilities. They also provide holiday luncheons to LARC clients and sponsor LARC in several of their fundraisers held throughout the year. Support from events such as the annual Essence of Elvis helps the Parents & Friends of LARC continue and expand their assistance.

Tickets are on sale now for $20. The price includes a buffet-style dinner prior to the show. Coffee, tea, and water will be provided, and a cash bar will be available. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm. Space is limited and seating is reserved, so tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door.
