Memphis, Tennessee, hosts 4 Lansing grads and 15 Memphis grads at 19th Visible commencement

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (May 26, 2019) – The Lansing campus of Visible Music College is a satellite of the school’s main campus in Memphis, Tennessee. The 2016 class was the first to graduate from the Lansing campus, and representatives from that class traveled to Memphis for graduation. But this year, on May 11, the entire graduating class made the trip from Illinois to Tennessee:
- Kristian Black (of Lansing, Illinois) earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Music Production
- Hannah Lanier (of Crawfordville, Florida) earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Music Production
- Felis Mubibya (of Merrillville, Indiana) earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Modern Music, Vocals
- Amaryah LaBeff (of Homewood, Illinois) earned a Master of Arts in Leadership, Music Business
LaBeff, one of the first three students to earn a Master’s degree from Visible, also serves as an assistant professor of modern music, songwriting at the Lansing campus.
Black, a TF South alum, was honored as the undergraduate valedictorian and gave a speech encouraging his fellow graduates.

The ceremony also included a performance by the Octave Up choir, a student-led service of worship, and a commencement address by Steve Wiggins, a five-time Grammy award nominee, song-writer, and author.
The Lansing campus of Visible Music College is located at 3404 Lake Street in Lansing, Illinois.
