LANSING, Ill. (May 13, 2019) – Last week, the Chicago Southland Convention and Visitors Bureau (CSCVB) announced the release of the 2019 Festivals & Events Guide. The 44-page guide features 587 of the area’s events from May to October—detailing everything from farmers markets to sporting events.

Sample events include:

  • Nitro Circus Live (June 8)
  • Gaelic Park Irish Fest (May 24-27)
  • Frankfort Fall Festival (August 31-September 2)
  • A variety of concerts, Fourth of July celebrations, car shows, parades, and holiday happenings

The Festivals & Events Guide is free and is available from the Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau:

Because new events are added throughout the summer, CSCVB will maintain an up-to-date listing on their website: www.VisitChicagoSouthland.com/Events. In addition, festival info is included in the CSCVB app, which can be downloaded on mobile devices through the App Store or Google Play.
