by Jim Siergey
Artist Jim Siergey is sharing works from his nart series as individual nartoons in The Lansing Journal. He also has a gallery showing of “Painted Objects” at Promise You Art House, 8830 Kennedy Avenue in Highland, Indiana. “Painted Objects” will be on display now through June 22.
In addition, Siergey has a comic art exhibit entitled “Cultural Jet Lag” (an illogical combination of high and low culture with no regard for time and space). Also featured will be the comic art of John Giemzik. Opening Weekend for Cultural Jet Lag is Saturday, May 18 (1:00–9:00pm) and Sunday, May 19 (2:00–6:00pm) at Paul Henry’s Gallery & Studios—416 Sibley Street, Hammond, Indiana. The exhibit is on display until June 30.
