All residents are welcome to attend meetings of the Human Relations Commission. The HRC meets monthly, and per the Open Meetings Act they publish an agenda to notify the public of items that are up for discussion. Meetings will typically begin at 6:30pm on Thursdays at the Lansing Public Library, 2750 Indiana Avenue, Lansing, Illinois.

About the Human Relations Commission
The Human Relations Commission is an advisory body, not a decision-making body. They meet to discuss Lansing’s diverse citizenship and ideas for ensuring that all kinds of people feel welcome in community, business, and government. Their recommendations go to the Village Board of Trustees, who decide what actions to take.
