Saturday, April 27, at Lansing Public Library

LANSING, Ill. (April 2, 2019) – State Representative Marcus Evans is partnering with Walgreens and ComEd to offer a free Shred Day at the Library on the last Saturday in April. Scheduled after tax season, the Shred Day provides an opportunity to destroy sensitive documents that are no longer needed—old bank statements, tax returns, pay stubs, credit card applications, and more.
In order to accommodate as many people as possible, the event limits each vehicle to two bags of documents. And the vehicle must have an Illinois license plate.
The event will run from 10:00am until 1:00pm, or until the shred truck reaches capacity.
The Lansing Public Library is located at 2750 Indiana Avenue in Lansing.
