TINLEY PARK, Ill. (February 24, 2019) – Beard Team USA announced the 2019 National Beard and Moustache Championships at the 350 Brewery’s Insanity Factory in the Chicago Southland. The event is scheduled for November 9. The fullest and wildest facial hair will be on display, vying for the title of National Champion. There will be 25 categories in total, including “Brewers Beard” for Brewmasters, Styled Handlebar Moustache, Natural Sideburns, a Veterans category, and four Ladies categories.

Since 2010, the National Beard and Moustache Championship has attracted the wildest and most precisely groomed facial hair in America. This year Remington Beard Boss is the title sponsor. The championship will recognize the elite from amongst the most rugged and original beards across the land.

“Whether it’s a simple soul patch or a full-on beard that would make the members of ZZ Top jealous, all kinds of facial hairs are welcome here in Tinley Park,” said Tinley Park Mayor Jacob Vandenberg. “We couldn’t be happier to host this national event and look forward to seeing who wins by a hair!”

“We are excited to host the 2019 National Beard and Moustache Championships in the Chicago Southland,” added Jim Garrett, president and CEO for the Chicago Southland CVB. “Tinley Park and the Chicago Southland will receive tremendous national exposure.”

For those unable to attend the event, the National Beard and Moustache Championships will be streaming live from the 350 Brewing Insanity Factory at www.nationalbeardchampionships.com.

A portion of the proceeds from the National Beard and Moustache Championships will be going to three regional nonprofit organizations:
