SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (February 17, 2019) – South Suburban College will host the 2019 Chicago Women’s Conference on Friday, March 15, 7:30am–1:30pm, at the college’s main campus in South Holland, Illinois. The event is planned through the college’s Business and Career Institute (BCI), and this year’s theme is “Leading the Way through Vision & Action.”
What started out as a small series of workshops in 2009, has become a yearly event with hundreds of participants. Last year over 350 participants and 50 vendors attended. Women of all backgrounds, age 18 and older, are invited.
This year’s conference focuses on leadership—in business, education, volunteer organizations, or governmental settings. Complimentary professional web-ready headshots (a $50 value) will be available to attendees.
The admission fee through February 22 is $49; after February 22—$59; $49 per person in a group of three or more; or $65 at the door. The cost includes a full breakfast and admission to break-out sessions addressing relevant issues in Health & Wellness, Personal Empowerment, and Business & Finance.
