Lansing Old Timers registering youth for 2019 sports

LANSING, Ill. (January 31, 2019) – Registration is open for the 2019 baseball/softball/volleyball season with Lansing Old Timers. Interested families can register for Little League, Girls Softball, Redbirds Travel Ball, Lansing Babe Ruth, and Volleyball at Nathan Hale School (19055 Burnham Avenue) on Saturday, February 16, 10:00am–2:00pm.

New registrants must bring a birth certificate for verification of age and proof of insurance. A parent must be present at registration to give permission for the child to participate.

Little League

Registrants must be at least 4 years old by April 30, 2019, and must be residents of Lansing. All Little League participants must supply the name of their family hospitalization insurance carrier.

Girls softball

Registrants must be 5 years old by April 30, 2019. Girls must bring in a copy of their birth certificate. (Copies will not be returned.)

Volleyball

In order to participate, registrants must be 9 years old by July 31, 2019, and entering fourth grade in the fall.

Lansing Babe Ruth

Registrants must be 13 years old by April 30, 2019.

Registration fees

A minimum of 50% of League fees and fundraisers must be given at registration. Fees listed are the cost per registrant:

  • Little League (Bantam 4, 5, 6) – $150
  • Little League – $200
  • Girls Softball (6U) – $160
  • Girls Softball (8U–14U) – $190
  • Girls Softball (18U) – $205
  • Volleyball – $170
  • Lansing Babe Ruth (In-House, 13–15) – $305

The sibling maximum registration of $400 does not include Babe Ruth, Travel Teams, Fall Leagues, or League fundraisers. To qualify, registrants from the same family must be siblings.

  • 18 U – $500
  • 17 U – $500
  • 14 U – $500
  • 12 U – $175
  • 11 U – $175
  • 10 U – $175
  • 8 U – $175
