Heating/cooling centers open in Lansing, Illinois

LANSING, Ill. (January 29, 2019) – The Village of Lansing acknowledges severe weather as determined by the National Weather Service, activating official heating/cooling centers to accommodate people in need. The Lansing Police Department (708-895-7150) is also available to make people aware of the availability of local centers.

Open during regular business hours:

  • Monday–Friday, 5:30am–9:00pm
  • Saturday/Sunday (September–May), 7:00am–4:00pm

Lansing Public Library

  • Monday–Thursday, 9:00am–8:00pm
  • Friday–Saturday, 9:00am–5:00pm
