Tiny’s Flowers begins delivery of 300 Thanksgiving floral arrangements

LANSING, Ill. (November 21, 2018) – This past summer, Tiny Noble promised to have 300 floral arrangements ready by Thanksgiving, so she could deliver them to nursing homes and senior living communities in Lansing, Dolton, Calumet City, and South Holland.

This morning she began delivering those flowers.

Residents at Buford Walker Senior Housing (17725 Arcadia Avenue in Lansing) were delighted to see two separate deliveries of boxes arrive, each box containing a unique floral arrangement.

Tiny says she loves seniors, and she wanted to make Thanksgiving Day as beautiful as possible for them this year.

She spent three months putting together 300 floral arrangements, enlisting the help of her mom and her mom’s friends. A car crashing into her store in August did not deter her.

The Lansing community—including some Buford Walker residents—pitched in by donating vases, flower pots, and rolls of ribbon. Tiny appreciated the variety of donations she received, because she can work with anything to make a beautiful centerpiece for a senior.

Tiny and her family are spending time this Thanksgiving week making those 300 deliveries. Buford Walker residents were pleased to be among the first recipients.

Tiny’s Flowers is located at 18055 Torrence Avenue, next to Crescent Jewelers. Call 708-394-3661 for more information.
