TF South Athlete Spotlight: Faithful Ojelabi

Five things to know about Faithful

information submitted by Matt Tiffy, Assistant Athletic Director

Faithful Ojelabi
LANSING, Ill. (October 30, 2018) – Senior Faithful Ojelabi plays football for the TF South varsity team.

What attracted you to football?

I was looking for something fun to do for an activity freshman year, and I just fell in love with the sport.

What is your favorite moment while playing football at TF South?

My favorite moment is when we did a team builder by doing a watermelon relay.

What are your goals for football this year?

My goals are to go as far in the playoffs as we can and bond as a team.

What is your favorite subject and teacher and why?

My favorite subject is AP Calculus with Mr. Seibel because of his teaching style, and he makes it a lot of fun.

“Faithful is the ultimate team player. Last year, he was a starting defensive corner back and willingly took on a need that we had at starting guard. Faithful not only made the switch, but he took on the challenge of being a leader on the offensive line.”

-Coach Bob Padjen

Each month the TF South coaching staff choose to spotlight a male and female athlete whose performance on and off the field is notable. Students are nominated based on how they have helped their teams and the strength of their academic average that allows them to participate in sports.
