Robert was the loving grandfather of: Traci (Allen) McReynolds, Jon (Kim) Stob, Joshua and Christine Stob. Cherished great grandfather of: Gavin and Reagan McReynolds, Josh Stob, and Lilyann, Catelynn, Madison and Isabella Stob. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marilyn (nee Mains), parents Joseph and Madalena Kazmierowski, daughter Debra, brothers Matt Kazmierowski, Kenneth and Bob Orze, and sister Dorothy.
Funeral Services for Robert will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018, with closing prayers beginning at 9:30am at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois, then processing to Our Lady of Knock Church, 501 163rd Street, Calumet City, Illinois, for 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial. Robert will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Robert retired from Curwood at the age of 55, and later worked for Kay manufacturing. Robert was an avid metal craftsman and model builder who loved hanging with his car buddies and grandchildren. He always had a joke and was the life of every party. He was loved by many, and he will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert’s name to the Hospice of the Calumet Area, 600 Superior Drive, Munster, Indiana 46321.
