SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (August 8, 2018) – South Suburban College hosted its fifth annual Open House on Thursday, August 2, and nearly 300 people attended. Tours, raffles, and giveaways added to the fun.
Program representatives from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Manufacturing, Building and Construction, Paralegal Studies, Court Reporting, Allied Health, SSC Maker Lab, Graphic Arts, Nursing, Applied Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Job Training, the new Latino Center, and more were on hand to answer questions and guide potential students with program facts and requirements.
Students also received information about the registration process, course selection options, Financial Aid, and Student Life.
Registration continues
Registration for fall classes continues through Saturday, August 18. The Admissions/Registration areas are open Monday–Thursday from 8:00am–7:00pm, and Fridays from 8:00am–4:00pm. Registration Services will also be open Saturday, August 18, 9:00am–1:00pm, including Admissions, Registration, Records, Student Life, Business and Accounting, Financial Aid, AAC, Counseling, and Testing.
Prospective students can begin the enrollment process online at www.ssc.edu. New students will receive an SSC email account and a “My SSC” Username & Password via email that will allow access to the online schedule and class registration. The “My SSC” portal also allows students 24-hour access during college closed periods.
Fall classes begin Monday, August 20 at the college’s Main Campus and Oak Forest Center. For more information, contact the Office of Admissions at 708-210-5718.
