Steve Mayerak returns from Honor Flight on Wednesday, August 8

LANSING, Ill. (August 7, 2018) – The American Legion Riders from Edward Schultz Chapter 697 will be gathering at Sunrise Health Foods (17650 Torrence Avenue) on Wednesday, August 8, to receive Steve Mayarak, a Lansing veteran who will be returning from a day-long experience with Honor Flight Chicago.
The Lansing community is invited to join the welcome. A specific time of arrival is not known, but typical Honor Flight welcomes are around 9:00 or 9:30pm in the Sunrise parking lot. No RSVP is required. Anyone who wishes to welcome Mayerak home is invited to meet at the American Legion at 9:00pm or at Sunrise Health Foods at 9:30pm.
Mayerak is owner of Lansing Floral Shop.
