Bloom Township hosts ‘Solid Gold’ senior lunch

LANSING, Ill. (February 2, 2018) – Bloom Township Supervisor T.J. Somer and the Board of Trustees invite Lansing seniors to the 2018 Bloom Township Senior Community Lunch.

Held monthly, the Bloom Township lunch serves seniors from 12 communities, including Lansing. The theme for the February lunch is “Solid Gold” and will feature rhythm and blues music by the Teacha Band. Raffle prizes are also a highlight of the monthly lunches.  

Cost for Bloom Township residents is $6.00. Out-of-township residents are also welcome for $12.00. Tickets are on sale at the Bloom Township Senior Department, 425 S Halsted Street in Chicago Heights.

The event will be held at the Serbian Social Center, 18550 Stoney Island Avenue in Lansing. Doors will open at 11:30am.
