LANSING, Ill. (October 23, 2017) – The Lansing Women’s Club—a longtime Lansing organization of professional women—met recently at Bottom’s Up to discuss ongoing events and ways to attract new members.

The club’s list of local philanthropic projects includes working with LARC, the South Suburban Women’s Shelter, and the South Suburban Food Pantry. They also help support the Lansing Junior Women’s Club by donating more than 20 baskets to the Veterans Dinner held in the spring.

The current members of the Lansing Women’s Club include Barb Raczak (Lansing), Publicity Chairman; Mary Alice Sylvester (Lansing), Vice President; Debbie Bach (Lynwood), President; Willetta Anderson (Monee), Secretary; Rose Morganthaler (Lansing), Treasurer; Connie Reynolds (Lansing); and Alice Banach (Lansing).

The Lansing Women’s Club meets on the fourth Monday of the month, September through May, at noon. It is not necessary to be a Lansing resident. Raczak says, “If you enjoy having lunch and interacting with other women, please feel free to join us at a meeting to see if you would like to become a member of our busy organization.” For more information, contact President Debbie Bach at 708-895-0822 or Publicity Chair Barb Raczak at 708-895-3195.
