CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. (September 10, 2018) – Marian Catholic High School celebrates its Homecoming during the week of September 10–14. Various events and activities will take place at the school during this celebration.

As a reflection of the school’s 60th anniversary, the theme for this year’s Homecoming celebration is “Homecoming Rewind—Dancing Through the Decades.” Inside the school, students will celebrate the week in spirit with a theme for each day:

  • Monday: Opposite Day
  • Tuesday: Dynamic Duo Day
  • Wednesday: Decade Day
  • Thursday: Class Color Day
  • Friday: Spirit Day

The school week will conclude with a Homecoming pep rally in the west gym Friday afternoon.

On Friday, September 14, at 7:00pm, the Marian Catholic Spartans will take on the Marian Central Hurricanes at Dave Mattio Field for the Homecoming football game. At 8:00pm, the doors of the Leadership Center will be open for students, alumni, friends, and families for the Dave Mattio Tailgate. Cost is $5 per adult and $10 per family. Proceeds from the tailgate benefit the Marian Catholic Alumni Association.

During the same time, Marian Catholic welcomes back the Class of 2013 for their informal five-year reunion in the Leadership Center.

The week-long celebration of Homecoming concludes with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 15, at Marian Catholic.
