LANSING, Ill. (May 11, 2018) – At a May 9 reception on the Lansing campus of Visible Music College, Myles Brooks, Brenton Houvener, and Josh VanDyke were celebrated as the second graduating class from this Visible Music location. The official Visible commencement for all locations happens at the main campus in Memphis, Tennessee, this weekend.
The graduation reception also gave Visible Music College an opportunity to let students know that Curtis Hunt accepted a position doing work with church worship leaders. He and his family will be leaving Visible and returning to Minneapolis, Minnesota. “Curtis has made a profound impact on the students who are graduating tonight, on other students, and staff, and the people of this community,” said Harvey. “We want to recognize him tonight for his service for these past four years.” Hunt was presented with a packet of handwritten letters from Visible staff and students and a bag of Doritos.
The 2018 class is the first class to include students who completed their full term of coursework at the Lansing location. The 2017 class included graduates who had transferred from other Visible campuses.
The Lansing campus of Visible Music College is located at 3404 Lake Street in Lansing, Illinois.
